Mufti Maaz Haroon is Pakistani Author and Islamic Scholar, and winner of national Qira’at Competition and achieved the UMRAH ticket as a reward in that competition, Born and raised in Pakistan. He studied Shariah in Pakistan and holded a Scholar and Mufti Sanad From JMU ( Jamia Mazahir-Uloom ) University.
Mufti Maaz’s work has gained worldwide recognition and he is the author of Book ( Khulasatul Quran Le-Ibneharoon ) Known as “The brief summary of Quran”, He currently teaches at the Jamia Taleemul Qur’an seminary in Kpk Pakistan.
Mufti Maaz Haroon took 2 year to complete his Hifz without spending time in Reading level (Nazira Quran) at the age of 12, and later on he gave his full-time to study the classical, Islamic academic disciplines hitherto known as the ‘Dars-e-Nizami’ and it took him 8 years to complete this long journey, and further he completed his specialization in Islamic jurisprudence (Takhassus fil Fiqh).
Mufti Maaz Haroon is very fond of Sufism (Sufism, also known as Tasawwuf, is a mystic body of religious practice, found mainly within Sunni Islam but also within Shia Islam, which is characterized by a focus on Islamic spirituality, ritualism, asceticism and esotericism.) and finished his Silsila – Naqshbandiyah – Sirajiyah (Naqshbandi is a major Sunni order of Sufism. Its name is derived from Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari. Naqshbandi masters trace their lineage to the Islamic prophet Muhammad SAW through Abu Bakr RTA, the first Caliph of Sunni Islam and Ali RTA, the fourth Caliph of Sunni Islam) from SHIEKH KABEER PEER BARAKALLAH SAHIB.
He did his master degree in Arabic Literature from JMU University, He is also a computer programmer and web developer ,worked in so many web project.
He has Thousands of followers across his social media platforms. His personable style and down to earth approach has made him one of the most sought after scholars in our time. He has endeared himself to people with his much loved lecture series,like.. 40 Shorts Hadith which was firstly published on facebook and later on other social platforms.
