This guide shares a simple, proven method. It uses structured reading and listening to yourself. With Allah’s help, this method will make your memorization strong and help you remember it for a long time.

Your Step-by-Step Quran Hifz Method

Follow these easy steps to help you memorize the Quran firmly:

• Step 1: Read the First Line
  • Look at the first line and read it 10 times.
  • Then, try to say it from memory. Listen to yourself as you recite.
• Step 2: Read the Second Line
  • Look at the second line and read it 10 times.
  • Then, try to say it from memory. Listen to yourself as you recite.
• Step 3: What to Do if You Get Stuck
  • If you forget a word, look at the word before it and after it.
  • Read these surrounding words 5 times while looking.
  • Then, try to say the full line from memory again.
• Step 4: Combine the Lines
  • Now, read the first and second lines together while looking, 3 times.
  • Then, try to say both lines from memory.
• Step 5: Add the Third Line
  • Look at the third line and read it 10 times.
  • Then, read the first three lines together while looking, 3 times.
  • After that, try to say all three lines from memory.
• Step 6: Keep Going!
  • Continue this pattern. Add the fourth line, then the fifth line, and so on. Go one step at a time.

The Golden Rule: Repetition is Key!

Even if you feel like you know a line after just one or two readings, you must still repeat it 10 times.

Why? Because repetition is the secret to memorizing strongly and keeping what you learn forever.
